Greece Rally 2023 Day 4: Riders Conquer Dual Challenges Amidst Stunning Landscapes
The Greece Rally 2023 entered its fourth day with double the excitement as participants faced two exhilarating stages that took them on an unforgettable journey through the enchanting landscapes of Greece. Amidst the breathtaking beauty of the region, riders also enjoyed a well-deserved break at the picturesque Igoumenitsa, sipping coffee and refueling for the adventure ahead. The route allowed riders to pass by charming towns, including Pedini, Liggos, Psina, Zaloggo, Olympiada, and trace the majestic Kalamas River, covering a total distance of 227 kilometers.
Day 4 of the Greece Rally 2023 was a testament to the diverse and challenging terrains that the rally is famous for. The day began with riders tackling the first stage, navigating through a series of technical sections, steep inclines, and winding paths that put their skills to the test. The competitors exhibited their unwavering determination and expertise as they conquered this initial challenge.
First to finish the day was #244 Tomas MILLET (KTM EXC 350F) with time of 3:55’43”. Second to finish the stages was #1 Roberto BARBIERI (HUSQVARNA FE 501) with the time of 4:00’34” and third was #233 Markus AUCHMANN (HUSQVARNA FE 350) with a time of 4:04’47”.
Tomorrow the riders head out to Albania for the Marathon stage. Riders will spend the night at the amazing town of Permet returning the next day back to Ioannina.
